About Binder
Binder is a London social platform that turns stated intention into real-world plans. People post Signals — short-lived invitations with a time and a place — and when others tap “I’m coming”, Binder forms the Plan and the group conversation. A live map shows what is happening nearby, Orbit shows which people you already know are open to the same thing, and Communities give scenes, collectives and organisers a home.
Binder is shaped by queer culture and built on a data covenant written into its articles of association: no advertising, no sale of personal data, no behavioural profiling and no generative AI ranking people. Every recommendation comes from what a person chooses to tell Binder, and every recommendation can be explained. Binder Community Limited is a UK company founded in London by Cain Varley, Trinity Stenhouse, Conor England and Cameron Farquhar.

The team
Leads vision and strategy, grounded in her ethnographic research into how London's queer techno scene creates belonging.
Leads product experience and visual identity, shaped by designing for 1,000-person events where accessibility and safety are live problems.
Designed and built Binder's entire technical platform — architecture, infrastructure, backend, app and the relevance engine. A doctoral researcher in cosmoparticle physics at UCL.
Leads legal and commercial strategy. A practising solicitor specialising in software, IP, data protection and contract law.
