Meet the team

Leading product direction, company vision, and the systems thinking behind how Binder should feel and operate.
For Cain, queerness is a method — a refusal to accept identity or community as fixed, and an insistence on imagining more expansive ways of being and connecting. Binder is built from that conviction.
She studied English Language and Linguistics at the University of Westminster, where her work explored the relationship between language, identity, and community. Her ethnographic research into the London queer techno scene — how people create belonging through shared culture and expression — sits at the foundation of how Binder thinks about connection.
Alongside her studies, she worked with INQUEST and the Campaign Against Arms Trade, developing experience in advocacy and community-focused research that sharpened her understanding of structural inequality and what it means to build spaces rooted in care and collective accountability.
As CEO, Cain leads Binder's vision and strategy — bringing together academic insight, lived experience, and deep community engagement to shape a platform that moves beyond curated, transactional identity, and makes space for people to show up fully.
